Crackdown 2 is a sandbox-style third-person shooter video game developed by Ruffian Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios, due for release on Xbox 360 in July 2010. It is a direct sequel to the 2007 video game Crackdown.

The game is modeled similarly to its predecessor Crackdown, a third-person shooter in open world gameplay. The player character is a super-human officer for the city-funded "Agency", known simply as the "Agent".

This time around, increased levels of customization for the character are allowed, unlike the presets offered before. Along with that, the orbs from last time are coming back, but the powers are expanded and enhanced, i.e, the Agility Skill allows the Agent to jump higher than in Crackdown, and provides a 'dash' maneuver, as well as opening up a special helicopter

The Grand Cherokee's origins date back to 1983 when American Motors (AMC) engineers were designing a successor to the smaller Jeep Cherokee (XJ). The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a mid-size UniFrame sport utility vehicle produced by the Jeep division of Chrysler. European Grand Cherokees are manufactured in Austria.

Three outside (non-AMC) designers — Larry Shinoda, Adam Clenet, and Giorgetto Giugiaro — were under contract with AMC to create and build a clay model of the replacement model, then known as the "XJC" project.

However, the basic design for the Cherokee's replacement was well under way by AMC's in-house designers and the 1989 Jeep Concept 1 show car foretold the basic design.

The Grand Cherokee was the first Chrysler-badged Jeep product. Development work for the new model continued and Chrysler employees (after the 1987 buyout of AMC) were eager for a late-1980s release date; however, CEO Lee Iacocca was pushing for redesigned Chrysler minivans, thus delaying the Grand Cherokee's release until late 1992 as an Explorer competitor.

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series , developed by BMW's branch BMW M. M3 models have been derived from the E30, E36, E46 and E90/E92/E93 3-series, and sold with coupé, sedan and convertible body styles.

Common upgrades over the "standard" 3-Series automobiles include more powerful and responsive (yet at times smaller) engines, improved handling/suspension, more aggressive aerodynamics/body, and multiple interior/exterior accents with the tri-color "M" (Motorsport) emblem.

Based on the 1986 model year E30 3-Series, the first M3 was introduced with a 2.3 L I4 S14B23 engine (or S14 in shorthand).

The engine design was based on various BMW genealogy: basic block layout from the M10 4 cylinder (found in the 2002 and 320 series) overbored and reinforced to similar specifications of the BMW M88 inline-6. The valve train and head architecture from BMW's M1 and, later, M6 inline-6 cylinder was adopted for aggressive breathing, resulting in outstanding performance for the day.

The most notable characteristic of the E30 M3 (relative to later M3 iterations) is its racing pedigree. It was campaigned by BMW as well as other racing teams including Prodrive and AC Schnitzer competing in many forms of racing including rally as well as German, British, Italian, Belgian, French and Australian touring.

One of the main reasons for production of the road car was to homologate the M3 for Group A Touring Car racing. One of the reasons often cited for its creation was that it was to compete with the "2.3-16V"-model of the Mercedes-Benz W201 190E which was introduced in 1983, although this was only speculative.

When the E30 M3 was in its final years of top level competition, the 2.5 liter S14 engine in full race trim was capable of over 340 hp (250 kW) naturally aspirated.

And it is true: used car parts help you save money. Clearly, this is a cheaper alternative to buying new car parts.

But are you getting the same quality? Good question. Actually, most automotive recyclers give warranties on car parts, so you won't need to worry about buying a lemon.

Better yet, recyclers can often find car parts faster than other dealers, as they have developed an electronic network to communicate quickly with other recyclers. If they don't have what you need in stock, chances are they can find it in no time.

Next time you're looking for car parts, consider your local automotive recycler. You'll be satisfied with the product, and also with the price.

Safe driving is far more than taking a course in driver education; it's also a matter of using your head and common sense.

The first thing to fix firmly in your mind is that your sense of time goes out the window the moment you get into a car. This can easily be illustrated by timing how long it takes to get out of a side street onto a well-traveled road, and then asking someone else in the car to estimate how long you were sitting there.

If you actually waited ten seconds, the other person would probably say 30 or more seconds.

An example of this foregoing point is that if you leave late and try to make up some time by driving extra fast to work, you may save two or three whole seconds. Conversely, if you leave two minutes early, and try to spend some extra time by driving slowly, you'll get there about two minutes early; perhaps one minute and 56 seconds early, if you really drag your feet.

Another point, which you can prove for yourself quickly, comes from watching the progress of somebody who has passed you because of his feeling that you're going too slowly.

Pick out a marker when that person passes it, and count the seconds until you reach it. Somebody really steaming down the road will pick up as much as five whole seconds in a mile, and maybe even 30 seconds in a trip of five or ten miles.



The worst driver is one who is convinced that he's the best driver in the world. So if somebody says "Wasn't that last corner a little fast?", consider if the remark was legitimate. If it wasn't, forget it; if it was, learn from it.
Continually analyze your own driving: "Did I make that entry onto the freeway properly, or did I almost risk an accident because I jumped into traffic too quickly?"

Ford announced it is closing the Mercury brand, wrapping up production by the end of the fourth quarter this year.

Ford Motor via WieckMark Fields, Ford's president of the Americas, said the company came to the conclusion after going through its annual business review.

While the Ford brand has been gaining market share steadily, Mercury's has been falling.

The company was selling most Mercury vehicles -- there are only four models for sale these days -- through employee, retiree, or other discount programs.

There are no standalone Mercury dealers -- all 1,712 Mercury dealers are paired with other Ford franchises.



There are 276 dealerships that have just the Lincoln and Mercury brands. Ford says in markets where there isn't enough demand for just a Lincoln dealership, the automaker will help the dealers either pair with a Ford dealership or buy them out.

Citroën have announced that it will include their new micro-hybrid e-HDi powertrains which feature Start-stop technology along with Michelin Energy™ Saver tyres.

This helps achieve an incredible 109g/km at launch, while future models will eventually only produce 99g/km. They have also used 15 percent green materials which is recycled polyamide components.

Unfortunately this is all that Citroen has said about the new C4’s engine offerings at the moment, but you can probably expect a similiar mix to that found in the Peugeot 308!
