Hyundai’s 2014 Santa Fe Sport earned the distinction of “Family Car of the Year”
Hyundai’s 2014 Santa Fe Sport earned the distinction of “Family Car of the Year” by Cars.com in their 2014 Lifestyle Awards. Cars.com is an online destination for car shoppers, offering information from consumers and experts to help buyers formulate opinions on what to buy, where to buy and how much to pay for a car.
The competitively priced Santa Fe Sport impressed Cars.com editors with its host of high tech offerings and luxury features that appeal to both parents and kids. Cars.com editors also selected Hyundai’s full size Santa Fe as a top nominee for their “Best Car of 2014” award.
To qualify for Cars.com Lifestyle Awards, a car first must be selected as a Best Bet. To become a Best Bet, a car must have ratings of Acceptable or higher in Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash tests; a reliability rating of average or higher; strong ride and handling; and average or better gas mileage in its segment.
The Santa Fe Sport features a flowing interior and exterior look, designed for family functionality and comfort. From the available heated rear seats and eight-way power driver seat, to a standard 40:20:40 split-folding rear seat back, both models boast flexibility and a pleasant and safe cabin for all.
