shuttleplanet.com

When it comes to the top heavy duty pickup trucks made in US, Ford Super Duty grabs the top spot. This ranking is drawn based upon the customer response and sales made specifically in the country. The ranking yardstick also includes the analysis for reliability as well as safety.

Towing capacity and torque are two important parameters that make this truck unique. Ford Super Duty also features world-class cabins. The interior of the truck is comfortable and you can also add a variety of accessories like weathertech floor mats, covers, cargo carriers, cold air kits, etc. It’s as customizable as you can make it.

In terms of towing capacity, the Ford Super Duty F 450 has the highest capacity for made in US trucks. The only competitor is the Chevrolet Silverado HD, with the difference in towing capacity of both being around 100 pounds.

Another focal point where the truck has received approval is the Work Solutions Systems. This is a wonderful innovation which allows the driver a number of tools ranging from tracking to printing invoices. This can be done via the in dash computer which is pre-installed. The seats also are pretty comfortable and the interface is ease to use.

Among the other US made trucks, Chevrolet Silverado HD is ranked no 2. The features are pretty much same as those of Ford’s, but the interior lacks a bit in terms of quality. In terms of capability, it is one of the best heavy duty pick-ups. Its fuel efficient engine, smart exhaust brake and handling are also its stand out features.

The third spot is occupied by GMC Sierra. Its interior is pretty decent and better than Chevrolet, but it loses out when it comes to torque efficiency. It’s also outmatched by its competitors in terms of towing capacity. Among the high points is its precise steering as well as engine capacity. The seats are quite comfortable and the accessories are good as well. On the performance front, it does an average job.

Fourth on the list is the Ram Heavy Duty, also made in US. This heavy duty truck is better at some level as compared to GMC Sierra, but loses out on the cost factor. Its interior design has been labeled as the best by many experts. The towing capacity is pretty solid, but the parameters are outmatched by the likes of Ford and Chevrolet.

The value of Ram Heavy Duty lies in the layout. The base trims are nifty and well-equipped in comparison with the top rated trucks. The interior is luxurious to say the least and the seats are easily the best ones around. Other value added features which allows this truck to make the top 4 is its Sirius Backseat TV, which is a class exclusive feature. However, this accessory also adds to the overall cost of the truck. There’s space to add seat covers ideally designed for infants as well.

The trucks that have been described above are the top four American made trucks. The ratings are based upon those from the American experts and public. You can also check out accessories that can go out with these trucks.

The F-TYPE Coupe visual message is defined by three key ‘heart lines’, that visual message beginning with the formidable grille. It is from the twin ‘shark gill’ openings that sit either side of the grille that the essential first heart line – which mirrors the design of the F-TYPE Convertible – flows and begins to take shape. Running up through the headlamp, and accentuated by the LED ‘J blade’ signature running lamps, the line then arcs up over the front wheel arch before dropping elegantly as it runs through the door, washing out into the muscular rear haunch.

The second heart line begins at the rear edge of the door, swelling outwards and upwards to create a visually strong wheel arch, emphasizing the car’s rear-wheel drive layout, before dropping vertically through the tail lamp ...
