Best Ferrari Cars of All Time
Ferrari have an amazing reputation and their cars have become collector’s pieces over the years. The following cars are some of our favourite ones that we’d love to own.
Ferrari 365 GTB 4 Daytona
This car was really the epitome of seventies style and consumers loved it. It was initially manufactured as a response to the success of the Miura by Lamborghini. It was quickly picked up and became a part of pop culture thanks to its appearance in Miami Vice.
166 MM Barchetta
This classic car was manufactured back in 1948 and its design still looks amazing. The wide, sweeping curves of the car and the signature style make it timeless. The two seater roadster features an open top and some excellent design that has made this something of a style icon. Only 25 of these cars were ever made, though replicas have been created to show a similar style in the years since.
Ferrari 330 P4 Berlinetta
As far as Ferraris go, the Berlinetta was one of the most revolutionary cars out there. The car was created to beat Ford on the racetrack and they didn’t skimp on the design of this car. The car was never released to the general public so if you wanted to buy Ferrari P4 models then you’ll have to stick to the toy cars out there. This car brought the brand great success at a variety of races and helped to make them a household name.
Ferrari 308 GTS
Another Ferrari that got a bit of time on the silver screen, the 308 GTS will forever be linked to Magnum PI – at least in the minds of seventies fans. The red version that was featured in the show quickly became one of the most popular in their catalogue, as macho drivers wanted to imitate Tom Selleck. We’ve always been jealous of his moustache and his car!
Ferrari 250 Spyder
The Spyder was an influential car in its own right but when one Californian dealer approached the company for a more costal car, the 250 Spyder was born. This car cruised the streets of California for many years and appeared in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Only 50 of these cars were made, though some of them are still driving around to this day.
Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa
Another iconic design the Testa Rossa was named for the red caps that were used on the wheels. This car created the pontoon shape that we all know and love these cars for to this day. Again, this was only manufactured in a limited amount with only 34 of them ever leaving the factory.
The design of this car is somewhat polarising, as some feel that the shape is just a bit too pronounced. We think it gives just the right mix of form and function though.
